Kristine Smith is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over a decade of specialised experience in oncology nutrition, supporting patients across both public and private hospital settings. She now offers a dedicated cancer care service at GenesisCare providing personalised, evidence-based support to individuals navigating cancer treatment and recovery.
As part of the only private Head and Neck Multidisciplinary Team in QLD, Kristine works in collaboration with Speech Pathologists, Medical and Radiation Oncologists as well as Nursing staff to offer weekly support during treatment.
Kristine works closely with each patient to optimise wellbeing, manage treatment-related side effects, and enhance overall quality of life.
Her approach is holistic, empathetic, and grounded in the latest clinical research ensuring that nutrition care is tailored to their unique needs, goals, and circumstances.
As a member of Dietitians Australia, COSA and ANZHNCS, Kristine remains engaged with the oncology community and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
In addition to her clinical work, Kristine is an academic at QUT where she shares her knowledge through educating the next generation of dietitians.
